We enjoyed the harbor cruise and definitely think it is worth doing. I will say that I was a bit disappointed that the 3 hour cruise was really 2 hr 15 min with 45 min sitting back at the dock if you want to stay on board. The other problem we experienced was that when we were called up to the buffet, they were out of most of the food. Eventually items were mostly replaced but that was disappointing. Still the experience as a whole was worthwhile. Nothing like seeing the Manhattan sky line from a boat.
This was just okay for me, it was not so good for my mom. This was basically a party cruise, I say party cruise based on the kind of music, and how loud they were playing the music, it was like a club atmosphere. The food was okay, but if you're a older person please beware of the youth environment. Another thing to they instruct you that the dress code is dressy casual, but there was a number of people wearing blue jeans, what's up with that? All in all I would not do this again.
What can I say about this trip, it's a good way to see New York in the dark, but it was disappointing for us, the voucher said 3 course meal, didn't get a starter, the main was a buffet which was ok but due to the fact it was raining trying to walk from the food back to the tables was a night mare.
We were told on the voucher we had to be there for 6 when we could board until 6.45 and ther wasn't any where you could really wait.
We left on time but 10 minutes into the sail we were turned around to dock as there was 2 guests late, we were told that we would then be our later to make up for this that didn't happen.
We waiting a while to get our drink order taken, the boat wasn't that full but the space that you had along the window wasn't a great deal, they should of had the tables turned around,
Getting of the boat wasn't the best due to being steep and slippery as it had been raining, getting a taxi was also difficult as there are a lot of private black cabs which will charge you double what a yellow cab would.
It really wasn't worth the price that they charged you
