How to use: Your pass is available for immediate use. Your voucher contains a unique barcode for use on your mobile phone as your ticket. Attractions will scan the code and you’ll be in!
• This pass is valid for the amount of consecutive calendar days you've purchased and ends on midnight on the last calendar day

We purchased the Sightseeing passes for a 3 day stay in NY. We were able to jump on and off the buses during the operating hours with no problem. Lines were sometimes long and good seats were taking by first in line; but you can move around the bus; at stops, to find better seats. We were able to enter several attractions quickly and if you are able to do many of the offerings, ultimately, you end up saving money with the pass.

We redeemed our tickets (1 day) in the office outside Grand Central Termianl. Long lines had us waiting for about 45 minutes just to get to the counter attendant to get our tickets printed. Once on the bus, we went a couple blocks to the first stop and sat for about 15 minutes. We realized very quickly that we would not have time to do all the stops we wanted and choose the MET and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Between the stopping, waiting to load, visits to these two stops, 5+ hours elapsed. Yes it was nice to get a ride around Central Park and pass by various sites but we could have done that in a carriage, Pedicab or taxi, at our own pace; even the subway to get right to your destination. We would have enjoyed it so much more, and been able to see more. If you do use this tour, go as early as possible to allow for time delays in getting your tickets and the "hop on/hop off" loading time and be realistic about how many stops you really want to make.

I had the chance to use the pass in June with my family, busses where always late and the stops on the website were not updated. I found my self, wandering half an hour near the Brooklyn bridge with 4 kids, looking for a sightseen bus stop that didn't exist anymore and then get on the metro paying the separate tickets to move elsewhere. Ticket for the Sightseen busses cannot be done on board with the pass, we had to search for the nearest Sightseen office and get back to the bus. The cruise on the Hudson was the worst, the website was offering three different itineraries, I showed up at the embarkment 45min before for the cruise around Manhattan, as recommended on the website, just to learn that the timetable was not updated, that we had to wait almost two hours and the only cruise available was WTC and Statue of liberty. The only good thing about the pass is that to you save some money on the attractions but the service is very poor and the website is misleading.
