This was such a great experience. I am not a swimmer (I did not raised my hand when they asked for non-swimmers) but I am comfortable with the flotation noodle and have snorkeled before. If you are not comfortable with just the noodle, you can ask staff for a snorkel vest. I suggest the GoPro they offer, the footage we got that night was amazing.
I'm not good with names but there were about 3 staff plus the captain on our trip. Each one of them were thorough, knowledgable, and was so gracious. If you get motion sick easily, at first, it is doable, but with the wetsuit/vest/Go Pro/snorkel/ I had with me plus the current, it was almost suffocating and it was a struggle towards the end. Make sure your wetsuit is not too tight on you, I wish I had gotten a bigger size.
My cousin (10 years old) and I had to request to go back on the boat early and they were so accommodating. We had to swim back on the boat but a staff was guiding us. I did throw up once I got back on the boat and the Captain took care of me and guided me to a spot on the boat so that I can get off the boat first once we dock. On our way back to the shore, the staff offered me ginger ale, I was surprised that were so attentive! The hot chocolate after the swim was such a treat as well.
Great company! I would recommend this 100%
