What if we don’t see any mantas? It is an extremely rare occurrence, but if we do not see ANY manta rays on our Night Manta Experience, you are welcome to come back out with us again during the same vacation, based on availability, totally free of charge. Make sure you call us right away so that we may reschedule you! Non-refundable and non-transferable.

We are fortunate to see mantas almost every night, but on the rare occasion where none are sighted on your tour, Sea Quest invites you to come back out on another night at no additional cost to you, or on a confirmed afternoon snorkeling adventure at no additional charge. No refunds available.

We had high hopes for this experience based on all of the reviews out there, but in the end, we were disappointed with our trip. We didn't see very many manta rays, they didn't get very close, and we spent a long time lying face down in dark, chilly water hoping to see more. My wife was hit with pretty severe sea sickness from bobbing in the water (not from the boat ride, which is very short), and three of our four family members were very cold despite the wet suits provided. We went snorkeling ourselves at the Captain Cook monument and at Two Step and both were 10x better experiences that didn't cost a penny. It is important to note that Sea Quest Hawaii did a really good job with everything that was under their control. They are a professional operation and their employees did a great job.

Aloha, we regret that you were disappointed in the manta ray activity during your trip. Unfortunately because the manta rays are wild animals, they can be unpredictable and our crew does everything they are able to in order to ensure you have the best possible interaction with the manta rays. A well-run tour! Fun experience, sighting mantra rays a little hit or miss! Hot cocoa at the end great :) a little chilly once you’re out of the water!

Guides on the boat and in water were excellent & made the night really worth it. Not so much back at the office - sign in person was too busy on phone talking about weekend to answer a question - usually in tourism courtesy is a given . Also, FYI, if you take 7:45 PM trip be aware this operation has no bathrooms for customers and the other structure public bathrooms we were directed to are closed at your return time.
