The weather or Aurora activity may change during the tour.

Even though everything is good or not good (Weather and Aurora Activity) when it starts, the weather or Northern Lights' activity always changes, and other conditions may change. It will be the natural things involved, which causes a lack of lights or low visibility.

We pick you up at Hotels listed.

With Photo Service (JPG Files) we will upload your photos into OneDrive or Dropbox linked. It takes 3 days to send a URL linked.

It was fantastic experience. I vistied Fairbanks on 2/29 and photographer brought us to secret spot. And we saw perfect Aurora. We were lucky that we saw dancing Aurora and little pink color with our eyes. Also Photographer took beautiful pictures. Thank you for your great experience and memories.

Loved it!! We were initially skeptical about the tour but it turned out to be an amazing experience. Specially the tour guides were outstanding in their communication and getting us the best experience they could possibly provide. We were able to catch northern lights on multiple locations they took us. David went above and beyond and took us to a couple additional location when we requested and to our luck we were able to see a dancing Aurora at one of these locations. It was magical! We had started getting inside the car after a round of pictures and suddenly David spotted new changes and was very quick in getting every single person out on time and even click great pictures efficiently (even multiple pics when Aurora kept changing). We ended up spending 4 hours overall and did not realize the time flew by. Though it is all about luck and Mother Nature, the tour guides did their best along and managed the complete end to end of the tour from pick up on time to drop off very well! Highly recommend them. Some tips which might help: - We did multiple spots and quick stops at some of them so you might not have enough time to setup your tripod at the locations- the pictures David took were great so you won’t regret that - Ask questions and communicate as they have wealth of experience and can share great insights - It could be disappointing if no sighting and all sympathy with other reviewers who were not able to view due to clouds etc. They gave an option to move the tour to another date as forecast was cloudy (we did not move it anyway as it was our last day here). But it ended up being a clear sky all night. Suggest to check the sky outside for stars and rely less on forecasts.

Chasing the Lights with Photography is a great tour. Our photographer, David, was very knowledgeable and knows how to find a spot to see the lights. He takes great pictures. But best of all he makes it so fun for everyone by being so excited for all the customers to see the lights. I booked this tour because it chases the lights because they aren't equally visible in different locations, depending upon the cloud cover. I highly recommend Northern Lights Chasing with Photography in Fairbanks.
