I arrived for the guided tour, and there was no tour guide. The bike rental place called the guide and I was told that the tour was canceled because it was "too cold." I received no call, text, or email in advance letting me know that the tour would be canceled, so I wasted a huge amount of time traveling there for nothing, and then I didn't have time to travel to an alternate Viator tour option that I had been considering downtown before it started. Tours should not be offered in the winter if they will be canceled when it's too cold. Winters are notoriously well known for being cold. And they could have canceled it days in advance when the weather forecast knowingly predicted exactly how cold it would be. As I wandered around aimlessly, I ran into other tours that were being conducted in the cold. This one was just unprofessional, uncommunucative, and unreliable.

Great tour of central park, tour guide was interesting with prices of New York history. Scooters where good fun… well worth doing while you are in New York

Our guide was very knowledgeable, considerate, helpful, and accommodating. He is obviously very experienced in giving tours, and did a great job overall. My husband and I enjoyed it a lot. My only feedback is that teenagers can be vulnerable- his comment of "You're stressing me out!" to my daughter, turned her experience from a very enjoyable one to an unpleasant one, where she couldn't wait for it to end. I didn't find out about this until we had left, when I asked how come she didn't want to be in front anymore and why her mood had soured. Please be mindful what you say to teens and how you say it.
