Mike is the best tour guide!!! He will show you a side of NYC that you will never see as a regular tourist. I had been to New York before meeting Mike and thought of the city as just Manhattan. Mike showed me the different aspects of New York and changed my perspective on the city forever. He knows the history and facts of NYC well and is unbelievably entertaining. I highly recommend Mike!

We had experienced the tourist attractions and had seen the bright lights of NYC but we were also eager to see a different side to NY and this is what we had with Mike. Before our tour commenced Mike informed us about the tour and asked if we had any requests (very thoughtful). Mike suggested we bring along waterproof jackets as rain was predicted. The personal touches meant a great deal to us. Mike took us around the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We travelled on the subway as this was one of my requests. We walked around residential neighbourhoods where I fell in love with the brownstone houses. We stopped at delicious eateries along the way - bagels for breakfast, hot dogs for lunch followed by tasty cookies. Mike has in depth knowledge about the city. His personal experiences of growing up in the city added to this truly amazing experience. Mike showed us things that I as a tourist would have passed such as the whispering tunnel at Grand Central station/terminal. Mike I would like to thank you once again for a fabulous day. We still talk about the experience today. I would recommend anybody to book this fun filled walking tour. BOOK NOW!!!

Great trip with Mike. Seeing NY from a native side is amazing. First got a taste of how a real New Yorker eats a bagel, followed by the historical structure of Manhattan that we saw as we walked around. We saw where ordinary people lived, the different social classes, iconic supermarkets. If we had to make it into a list (it's hard) it will be - Architecture - The historical things - Central park - Ramble the area in Central park -Gluten-free baker - The story of how Manhattan was built and how Mike supported it along the way - Hotdog - Bagel - The church which was not just a church - see a soup kitchen - to be in the bank And Mike had many recommendations that we took to heart Mike was good at including our teenager in the hike as well. Thank you very much Mike, and you are always welcome in Aarhus - Denmark
