Guests will need one MetroCard swipe or OMNY tap to enter the subway.

Please note that although you will see abandoned subway stations from the train, the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) doesn't grant public access into them under any circumstances.

Very nice history of the subway. Our guide AJ was knowledgeable and thorough, Too much standing while listening. I would recommend finding locations that participants can sit.

Hi Marcia, we appreciate the feedback. We always try to keep our tours moving so we will work with AJ to do just that. The Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) makes it very difficult to find places to sit in the system (besides inside the trains) but will definitely work on it. My thanks to you!
