We book an excursion off the Celebrity Solstice for the Ocean Raft trip and were so glad we did. First, the orange suits we provided did nothing for the figure...it was hilarious looking but so warm! The raft has seats like a saddle with a handle in the front and a small back and the ride is fast and exhilarating. Our captain was Ashley; he did a great job at maneuvering and getting us as close to the wildlife as possible. We had a few humpback whale sightings with plenty of time of pictures and videos. They were amazing! We then saw several seals basking in the sun on a rock...one seemed like it was actually posing and smiling for us! Eagles...if you don't see any on this trip then something is definite not right! We finally gave up taking pictures since there were so many. It was a gorgeous day and we were so glad to have taken this trip! Thank you!

We did this adventure as part of a Disney Cruise Port Adverture on the 30th May 2013 in the morning. To be honest when we left the cruise ship we did not really understand what we were letting ourselves in for but this was by far one of the best things we did in Alaska. The team were brilliant, very knowledgable & respectful to the environment and wildlife around Alaska. The Navy Seal Boat was great fun and allowed us to get up close to all sorts of wildlife in a 2 hour tour including Eagles, Whales (I think we got lucky to see Whales), Mountain Goats and Seals. We did a couple of wildlife adventure in Alaska but this was different and by far the best as the small boat means you are always in a modest size group led by a small company of experts. A great experience, highly recommended!

When we cruise we always do our homework- we never book through the ship- you will find better values and better experiences when you do---Another hit!!! The Ocean Raft Adventiure in Skagway was awesome!!!! Great gear provided great guides and great fun . We happened to have hit"pay dirt" Breaching Whales,and TAILS very near to us, seals and pups,, eagles, mountain goats...... That being said, even if we had not seen these we still would have had fun.
