Pat Conroy's family moved to Beaufort when he was 15. He adopted Beaufort as his home and Beaufort adopted Pat as our own! Join us on this 1 1/2 hour tour of "Pat's Conroy's Beaufort," from his boyhood home to his favorite restaurant to Prince of Tides and Great Santini locations in the film adaptations of Pat's such autobiographical novels.

At the end of the tour you will have the option to be dropped off here. Open Thursday through Sunday, noon till 4pm.

We had a really great tour yesterday. Although I have lived in Beaufort for 10 years and am familiar with Pat Conroy and his work, I learned quite a few new tidbits of information! It was a fun tour and Bill was a gracious host. Highly recommend!

Pat Conroy's Beaufort Tour is a must-see for fans of the author. Having read all of Pat's books, a visit to Charleston and Beaufort was a must for us. The tour guide was extremely knowledgable, entertaining and personable. The combination of his commentary with short video clips helped to really bring the tour alive. It was great fun to see the many places that were important parts of Pat's life and to discuss them, as well as many personal anecdotes with the tour guide. Definitely one of the many highlights of our visit to the lowcountry!
