Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon

Called by some as the “Mystical Canyon”, it’s no wonder that Peek-a-Boo is becoming more and more popular! This spectacular slot canyon is local to the Kanab area and though it is our most requested tour, it remains an excellent alternative to, or an addition to, the very crowded Antelope Canyon. On this tour, we are happy to let you take all the pictures you’d like. Though we are more and more likely to share the canyon with others, we are often alone here and the groups we see are just in passing. It is a pleasant experience with the time allotted for you to enjoy the marvels of a slot canyon.

Kanab and Southern Utah are breathtaking and made for an incredibly memorable trip for my family and I. But our journey and experience with Expedition Kanab made it the trip of a lifetime for us! We took a guided ATV tour in the morning of Peekaboo Slot and the Great Chamber Loop with our awesome guides Matt & Kenny. They were so knowledgeable of the area and the terrain as well as so engaged with us, especially our kiddos, that it made it so much more fun. I cannot say enough great things about Expedition Kanab and i highly, highly recommend them! And oh yeah, you MUST go sandboarding!!!

We did this ATV Slot Canyon Trip with my two college age teens. We had a great time. The ATV ride out to the canyon was fun. The Guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the slot canyon history. He knew the slot canyon well. He suggested where to stop for the best pictures. It was nice having him there to take a picture with me and my kids w/o it having to be a selfie. We even did a little side trip on the ATV's on the way back for a great view of the over all area, in the sand dune. Well worth the time and $$ spent. I also liked that it was just me and my two kids and the guide.

We went to the Great Chamber and Peekaboo Slot Canyon. We enjoyed visiting both of these locations as well as riding on the sand dunes! The views were beautiful. Josh was an excellent guide! He recognized the needs of our party and was flexible to make adjustments to make sure everyone had a great experience. He went above and beyond to make sure we got to enjoy the full experience. He is great at taking photos of the group. Tips for future travelers: This trip is best for those at least 8 and over because the hike to the Great Chamber is difficult for little ones. I highly recommend this trip and Josh!
