Philadelphia: a relatively well managed tour of key points of interest Amish country: the carriage ride is really touristy, being parked in a horse-drawn trailer to do 50 m... nothing typical, but conversation with the Amish quite nice (being fluent is better) The Amish market... Tip: if you are 4 or more rent a vehicle and do it yourself it will cost you much less.

We began the trip with great enthusiasm, and we asked for a guide who speaks English since we like to hear the original language in the country we are in (the United States). We are Spanish speaking; On the tour there were 3 guides: Portuguese, Italian and German speaking. We were assigned the German guide who was obviously not comfortable speaking English. Much of the group spoke German; Therefore the guide spent much of the time speaking in German and for those who spoke English or Spanish there was no translation. Our guide explained briefly to us in English and at one point got upset when we asked him a question. Our guide (who barely spoke English) got angry because when we were in line to take a photo, it took us 3 minutes (there were a lot of people, what could we do?). He got angry with us and with the tourists from Türkiye. The excursion was especially dedicated to stopping several times to eat (a lack of time to explore the places!). At 10:30 they stopped to eat “brunch.” At 1:00 p.m. to be with the Amish community to buy lemonade and eat something homemade. We were only with 2 people from the community for a few minutes. At 2:30 p.m. he stopped to have lunch until 4 p.m. and then return. What a great disappointment this experience!! I don't recommend it to anyone!!
