Joel was an amazing guide! He was a wealth of knowledge with all the questions we threw at him! Our vehicle was a very nice(and clean) van. He was a very careful driver, especially through those very narrow tunnels. He took us to so many places that we would never have known about if we had done this on our own! We tried to hit Mr. Rushmore first (our second try) and it was invisible in the clouds. He returned to it at the end of the tour again. Though it was still invisible, he drove us to the visitor center, showed us around and gave us a heads up in case it cleared up the next day! Thankfully it was a bright sunny day our last day in SD and we were able to see it. He was very kind to take pics of us as we travelled to all the sites. He also answered questions of other things we should see in the area and places to eat. As per his suggestion...make sure to get to the ALPINE INN in Hill City early. The food was amazing and unbelievably priced.

Daniel Milks was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable, helpful, responsive to our requests, and told great stories. He led us to great locations where we got to see tons of wildlife up close. He is a seasoned global traveler with a passion for exploring the national parks and that came through every moment of the trip. We would be thrilled to go on future trips with him if possible.

Our driver, Ryan was the best! He knew a lot about the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip. Would definitely recommend the 1800 train ride and having 'Black Hills Tour' company provide you with a picnic. Great adventure and a Great tour company!!!
