The captain works with the guest to design a custom outing based on his 30 years of cruising experience in the local area. With knowledge of the local sea conditions and coastal ecology. you build a custom experience. Typically, Guests experience:
* Offshore sailing
* Relaxing in secluded Anchorages
* Intracoastal Excursions
*Transits to Wilmington or Southport (return fee not included)

Our private charter attraction provides guests with the option of sailing offshore for approximately two hours and returning along Banks Channel along the south end of Wrightsville Beach. We pass by Masonboro Island Reserve and the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.

Jim was great! Beautiful sail. Jim tried to accommodate what we wanted to do despite conditions. More characters needed so this is filler.

Many thanks James for your comments. Springtime brings weather conditions that change rapidly along the coast. This past week winds regularly exceeded 25 knots along the SE coast. While wind makes for exciting sailing conditions, activities like anchoring, or swimming become more dangerous. I really hope you can bring your kids and family back to the area so e can arrange another private cruise to enjoy the barrier islands and plow the offshore waters. With Gratitude, Captain Jim

Captain Jim knew our teens are sailors, and he made sure we went out on the open sea and let them sail the boat! They were also able to bring it into the inter coastal waterway and get the feel for maneuvering a larger craft than what they are used to in a more confined environment. Additionally, Captain Jim is a fantastic guide regarding the area, both the natural environment and the local scene. We enjoyed chatting with him about history, economics, birds, lore, and tides. We counted this cruise as the highlight of our trip to NC.

I didn’t get a change to experience the tour. That day there was a thunderstorm. So the best option was to cancel the tour. I would like to experience later on

Thanks Rosa for pointing out that weather threats can lead to a cancellation. In NC, August is the peak of T Storm activities. September and October bring less heat and less cancellation threats. We follow daily marine forecasts carefully, and when conditions are not safe, we contact guests to either fully refund charges or reschedule immediately. In this case, we were able to fully refund Rosa's tour. Cancellations are a disappointment for all of us. I look forward to cruising with you and your family soon. Best regards, Captain Jim
