I highly recommend Best New York Tours! Shortly before our family vacation (with 2 boys, 14 and 17) in NYC I injured my leg, and we needed an alternative way to explore the city. Based on the positive feedback I contacted Best New York Tours for a private custom tour. Sheldon arranged a truly customized 6h tour and even helped to organize a wheelchair for me. The tour was awesome! Sheldon is a very knowledgeable guide and provided a lot of facts and anecdotes. He is truly passionate about his city and also very entertaining. The tour was a perfect mix of information, historic context, personal stories and pure fun! The highly skilled driver also did an excellent job! The whole family was fascinated, almost overwhelmed by this fantastic tour. Thanks again, Sheldon, for showing us Brooklyn and Manhattan, we hope to be your guests again when we visit NYC the next time!

We only had one day in New York City and chose to take this private tour and it was totally worth it!! We had a large group of 7 and Marshall was our tour guide. He showed us all around the city and were able to see everything on our list and much, much more! We were able to drive through certain areas and get out and walk through others. We stopped for coffee and ice cream and really enjoyed our time learning about so many things in New York that we didn't know! He shared a lot of history and we were able to stop and take pictures everywhere. The car was clean, the driver and tour guide were both fantastic!! We plan to go back and would do this again. Thank you Sheldon and Marshall for an incredible tour experience!!
