I had booked a paddle boarding lesson however due to the waves it was recommended, when i checked in, that i change it. I had no real interest in doing surfing but I did it anyways. It was then a 15 minute wait as they didnt have enough surf boards out, so they had get some. Mike, my instructor, was great. He was easy to understand, let me take my time and was all around great. There was another instructor I encountered 3 times, once he told me I was doing great, once he help push me along as my arms were getting weaker, but the other time he told me to give him a warning if I almost crash into him.. which I almost did at one point but he saw and got out of the way, he was fairly rude about it. I asked Mike about it and Mike said no that is not the case, as I was told in the start of my lesson, and what I did, was nothing, focus on what I was doing so it didn't cause a bigger problem. This made me confused, the instructions should be teaching the same thing. I tried to avoid being around the other instructor after that. I was also told after my lesson that someone had been taking photos, which was exciting I wanted to show my family, however once I went to check with the girl she said she didn't know I was part of a lesson (being around Mike the whole time and the yellow rash guard weren't enough I guess) so make sure you let her know before or something. So I have no picture proof but I did it, and am glad I did. I won't surf again but over all it was great.
