Physically challenging, but we had a great time! Our guide Jen, was awesome - I never felt unsafe and she explained everything to us and put in a lot of work to get things set up for us! The views were amazing and it was nice to be out of the crowds!

You can walk these grounds on your own and/or access the Travel Stories Audio Guide app. We did both which are free and do not require reservations. Don’t forget your water, suntan lotion and Dramamine. Since you’ll be in the area make dinner/show reservations at Flying W which is nearby. Really glad we did both.

A huge shout-out to Dolan who took us out climbing on July 1st. We were originally supposed to climb at Garden of the Gods but it was raining the night before and he recommended that we moved to North Cheyenne instead. It turned out to be the best decision as it allowed us to climb peacefully in a more quiet setting. My partner and I have prior indoor & outdoor climbing experience and Dolan set up routes that perfectly suited our level. His excellent belaying made us feel safe the entire time, allowing us the space to be brave and try hard. He was very encouraging and generous in sharing a lot of tips and tricks and knowledge about climbing in general. We left the session completely buzzing and looking forward to being able to book a climb with them again.
