Our tour guide Larry was a great wealth of knowledge and did an awesome job, but the tour was less than satisfactory. I stopped at an information center yesterday to learn more about the town and get some insight on popular things to do from a local. Unfortunately, all they wanted to do was sell me things. I had looked up this tour and originally decided against it because I didn't want the added expense on top of everything else I had planned. I figured I would be able to find some of these things for myself and save the money- I wish I would have stuck with my first instinct. Not only did I feel slightly pushed into doing one of these tours- I was given no other information outside of the tours. After the appointment was made I was given the impression our time was finished, and I had to ask if there was anything they would recommend in the area besides that. I was given a few things that I was told would probably be touched on in the tour. They weren't. As far as the actual tour, we made 2 stops and neither were vortexes from what I understand. We had gone to a vortex but the guides didn't know they were all going to be there so upon arriving and seeing 2 other Jeeps we left and were told we were going back. We never went back. It may have been the day or just how things played out I'm not sure. I understand things don't always go according to plan but I was really looking forward to the spiritual aspect of this Vortex Tour. When I left I ended up just feeling sad that I wasn't given the full experience that others seemed to have had. Off to make the most of this vacation and find some of these places for myself while I'm here!

Hi Kali, I regret we missed this and I'm only now responding. I'd like to point out that we do have a value back guarantee, and if you ever want to come back and try a different tour, with a different guide, it's on us. Thanks for your feedback.

My father and I had the pleasure of meeting Zac and having him as our jeep tour guide. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about EVERYTHING from vortexes and energy to the unique geology of Sedona. I would highly recommend Earth Wisdom if you're looking to take a unique jeep tour in Sedona. Ask for Zac-- he rocks!

Took the vortex tour with Larry and got lucky that it was only my wife and I on the tour. Larry took us out and explained the background behind what a vortex is. My wife is the more spiritual of the two of us and I was a bit skeptical at first. I won't tell you all of the details but this trip will make you think about the energy that is all around us. Go with an open mind and enjoy the beautiful sights only made possible by off roading onto some paths that weren't occupied by the loads of hikers we saw that day. Even if you go for the views and the history it is well worth the price. Take a chance and learn something new, you won't be disappointed.
