Sky was a great teacher. Super knowledgeable, patient and really cheered on our successes! It was both my partner and I first time trying out SUP, we had an amazing time, it was really fun and relaxing once we got the hang of it. We learned a lot about the area and history, Sky is a fountain of knowledge about the local area. Gave us a great breakfast place recommendation afterwards. An amazing experience!

Maui SUP Adventures is where it is at!!! My brother and I absolutely enjoyed our time out on the water with our guide/instructor Sky! He is a legend. Logistics wise: I have a year of SUP experience (on lakes) My brother had zero SUP experience We were able to meet up with Sky and he brought our SUPs down to the beach. Before hitting the water, he gave us a great rundown on the basics of paddling. Sky just describes things super well and my brother picked up on his instructions fast. Sky also has a dry bag to put valuables in and that was super nice! Once on the water, Sky gave additional instruction to my brother and he was standing within like 15 minutes of getting onto the water! Sky is super patient, encouraging and to top it off extremely knowledgeable and passionate! We got to see turtles and learn about the Hawaiian culture, history, as well as the animals/vegetation in the area. Sky also taught me new paddling tricks to spice up my paddling game and I’m super excited that my both my brother and I got something new out of our experience! This experience is soooo worth it and as someone who loves to SUP, if you are new and curious - do it! You’ll fall in love and getting to see Sky’s passion will help you learn about the sport! If you are experienced it is still worth it! You may pick up new techniques and the water is beautiful! Go into this with an open mind and don’t give up because you’ll have a great instructor by your side. Plus you get free digital photos of you paddling! Sky is 10/10 so if you are reading this…you gonna book right?

If you are looking for an activity to remove stress from your life, then Maui Stand Up Paddle Adventures is a must do. Makena Bay is beautiful from turtle town to the lava caves. Aqua has the most refreshing personality. She is encouraging, helpful, and knowledgeable both of paddle boarding and of Maui. She truly loves what she does. Booking was easy, meeting instructions were easy to follow, and what to bring instructions were spot on. Aqua took great pictures throughout the trip so we can look back at some truly amazing memories. As tours go this one makes the top of our list hand down. It was not just about the tour, but about you having a wonderful Maui experience.
