Jason was awesome! He and a partner gave myself and son Charlie (18 years old) a private lesson and it was fantastic!! Very knowledgeable, very safe with an emphasis on safety first, great communicator, good sense of humor, and expert surfer and surf instructor. We would highly recommend him and hope we have a change to take some more lessons on our next visit from Minnesota!

Jason is hands down the best instructor you will find. I can say that after having multiple instructors since my move to Orange County. Not only has he grown up with surfboard in hand, but his navy seal training in combination with the fact that he's one of the only CPR certified instructors out there made him an obvious choice for me. As a nurse I like to have all my safety basis covered and with him I can breathe easy. He gets right to it and teaches you safety first so that you feel confident going into the water. I personally was scared of the ocean after moving from Oklahoma and he has taken me by the hand and not only made me comfortable in the water but after only two lessons with him I am going out by myself and really getting into the sport of it. I also MUCH prefer the boards he brings to teach with as opposed to the long foam boards my other instructors started me on. He is ALL about you during your lesson which I've found to be a rarity as well. He puts everything he has into getting you up on the board and getting you where you need to be. You will get your money's worth out of this lesson. He's such an awesome instructor and I honestly cannot give this man enough thanks for helping me conquer a fear and for weekly building my surfing skills!!!! Thanks, Jason!!!
