Whether you want to see waterfalls, wildflowers, enjoy a quiet walk on a forested path, or climb a 6,000 foot peak, we will customize these trips based on your desired distance, difficulty, and destination. After booking, our office will contact you to discuss your preferences.

Hike will meet our office in downtown Asheville at 8:30am, and will last approximately 4-5 hours including transportation time. Snacks are included, but transportation is not. Transportation between Asheville and the trailhead (including hotel pickup) can be added for an additional fee. Your guide can provide trekking poles upon request at no additional charge.

We hike rain or shine! Hikers should arrive prepared for all weather conditions and pack a rain jacket, an extra warm layer, and water. We may cancel or reschedule your hike in the event of severe or dangerous weather conditions.

We had a wonderful time. Our guide, Christine, was awesome. She took us up to the hiking path and stopped along the way to show great views and tell us about the area. Christine was always looking out for us and brought us to a lovely waterfall where we had a rest and some snacks before our hike back. Christine was knowledgeable of the area plant life and birds. We had great conversation and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We highly recommend Blue Ridge Hiking Company and our guide Christine. Thanks for a memorable afternoon hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains!

I had a great 3 day backpacking trip with Blue Ridge. The booking was very professional. I booked last minutes and they were very accommodating. I also used the shuttle to get from the airport to Hot Springs. I was supposed to fly Sunday night but my flight was cancelled and had to fly monday morning and they were able to change the shuttle pick up no problem. The equipment was all brand new with an excellent pack, tent and food. My guide, Andrea, was very experienced. She had done a thru-hike of the AT and told great stories and was also very knowledgeable about local flora and fauna. We did close to 30 miles over the 3 days, and it was a total blast. I would highly recommend Blue Ridge.

What an amazing hike 😊 our guide was Christine Martens she is full of helpful knowledge and a great leader. I would recommend her if you are thinking of taking a long hike. She is fun to be around and has plenty of experience.
