We reached the place early because I knew that it would be difficult to park and find the correct place. Luckily I decided to park in the public parking for Boston Marriott Cambridge, which is adjacent to the place where the tour starts. It was $42 parking, but it was worth it.
As mentioned, we reached 20 minutes early in the spot, and one person from the tour was already there. He checked our tickets on phone and gave us maps/coupons etc and explained the process.
Amanda was our tour guide and she arrived at the spot at the correct time. The tour was total 1 hour 10 minutes. There are more than 100 buildings for MIT, but the tour covered about 30 (As par Amanda's version). However, she gave the group a thorough introduction of each of the buildings she had shown. She explained the admission process a bit, and then also academics in the first and second years, also explained the study tracks and research opportunities available. Also, she mentioned history and background information about each of the building/artifacts she mentioned. Very nice.
