Our multi-award-winning tours are designed from the perspective of our owner, an Italian-American, native Bostonian who is a culinary school alum. Our focus on award-winning best eats is just the beginning. In between bites of arguably the country's #1 pizza, a Best of Boston-winning Italian sub like no other, an award-winning, Time magazine-featured pasta, and an iconic cannoli, our goal is tell the WHOLE story of this historic neighborhood, with topics ranging from history to movies to crime! And, as we venture off-the-beaten path, we include the neighbors, who share their own experiences.

Oh, and did we mention the three-time Best of Boston-winning bread bakery, the the Food Network, "Best Thing that I Ever Ate"-featured salumeria?

Boston Foodie Tours

Tour begins at 1:00 p.m. at Tony DeMarco Statue at the corner of Hanover and Cross Streets in the North End. On Sundays, start time is 11:30 a.m. 1st stop, iconic pizza that TripAdvisor ranked the #1 IN THE COUNTRY TWICE! 2nd stop, an exterior visit to the historic Old North Church, followed by tasting of Best of Boston Sandwich, which is sure to be the best Italian sub that you'll ever eat. Then we'll visit two hidden gems: a THREE-TIME Best of Boston Bread Bakery, and a salumeria that was featured on the Food Network's "Best Thing That I Ever Ate". Last up, a pasta course at an award-winning family-owned restaurant that's a fave with locals and celebrities alike! Oh, and a cannoli for the road, but not just ANY cannoli. An iconic one! Audrey is so kind , knowledgeable and hilarious! We had so much fun learning about the North End, its history, and food culture! Audrey pointed out several additional food ideas for the rest of our week in Boston - we are so appreciative! We loved Audrey and this tour!

I was in Boston with my husband who was there for a work conference. I booked 3 excursions for my days there and this was the first of the three on my schedule. Our group met at the Tony DeMarco statue, and it turned out to be just me and another lovely couple on the tour that day. Audrey was our guide and was simply amazing throughout our time together. We explored the neighborhood and enjoyed lively conversation and great food throughout our 3 1/2 hours or so together. Audrey shared so much information about the area, the people and the food with us and it was just an absolute treat. I could not have asked for a better start to our time in Boston. I also did a tour a few days later and ran into Audrey again while she was on another tour. We hugged, took a picture together, she just couldn't have been any sweeter and more fun. Highly recommend!

The secret's out. We're huggers, and proud of it! What better way for conference attendees' spouses/partners to spend solo time than on a delicious food tour? We were thrilled that you found your way to Boston Foodie Tours, and that you enjoyed a near end-of-season, intimate North End Neighborhood Tour experience with lovely past guests. It made this tour guide's day to cross paths with you again while you experienced the neighborhood from yet another perspective. Boston misses your fun-loving nature already. The best tour in the best Italian neighborhood in Boston. My wife and I have been on several food tours in NYC and Boston and this one tops them all! The very best of the famous North End of Boston, the REAL Italian neighborhood. Current history and the best of the neighborhood food and restaurants. Our guide, Andrea, seemed not only to know ALL the restaurant and shop owners but the staff as well, so we got the best treatment one could expect thought out the tour. Highly recommend this tour company.

Phew, apparently, we've still got it! We've often said the first time a guest, and the second time a friend. Nothing warms this tour operator's heart more than guests joining us multiple times, whether on the same tour, or a different one. As Northern neighbors, we were flattered that you and your lovely wife included us as part of your Southern New England getaway, and that you were able to enjoy a near end-of-season, intimate North End Neighborhood Tour that included a few new discoveries.
