I am not a fan of illusions, but everything was so brilliant with this show that I quickly gave up trying to watch for curtains moving or cords from the fly and just enjoyed it. The audience interaction was so intimate, we sat in the back of the house and it still felt like we were part of this larger-then-life event.
My nephew was called on to ask a question and he blurted out something really silly that no one could understand, but Reza spent a good 45 seconds – minute asking others to help explain the question to him. Anyway, we bought the passes to see the backstage area, and when my BIL told him this was the kid with the question Reza seemed interested and everyone got a good laugh when he said, “I actually googled it at intermission…” Then my daughter told him she has her own Oreo trick, and she loved that he asked her about it and they briefly discussed failed attempts they both had with Oreos.
The pass (worth the cost) also gave me an opportunity to examine the fly space… (yes, I did look!) We got autographs and walked the theatre, checked out their green room (where my nephew immediately got excited because he recognized it from the Tik Tok videos,) and viewed the tour bus.
If you only do one show, this is the one.
