Really good show. Good energy. Reza comes off as relatively humble and personable. He doesn't waste time acting as if he is too cool for his audience and he's doing us a favor showing up tonight - he seemed genuine and into his craft for the right reasons (to make adults laugh and be kids again, and make kids smile).
Most illusions were same / similar to other things we've seen, but they were well done and it was fun. Audience interaction was on point and is a great bridge to the illusions.
We got good prices on tickets, $130 for family of 6, well worth it for a 2 hour show that is good start to finish.
Suggestions for improvement - too much / too long on the intermission hocking of merch. I know that's an important piece and helps to pay all of the sound team and "non-Reza" staff, but it's just a bit too much, seems heavier at this show than other shows.
Also, the helicopter illusion at the end, at least for our show, was "unsold", meaning he didn't hype it enough, it's like you can tell the show is ending, and then sheet drops, and then there's a 5 ton helicopter on the stage from out of nowhere. It's one of the best illusions of the show, but the build-up and sell is off - needs more, again, great illusion - sell it and hype it harder.
