We were on the 10am-12nn tour on Sep 23, and we were on time (9:59am according to Google Timeline) even though it was drizzling, so we sat down for a while waiting for the other guy that didn't show up and we didn't leave on time (10:37am according to Google Timeline).
We enjoyed it especially the Capitol area (and we had the whole place to ourselves) but we thought that it was too short (we got back at 11:55am according to Google Timeline). We didn't say anything when we got back to the office, but when we got home, the thought kept coming back at me that I think we missed something that I thought we'd see.
When I checked my Google Timeline and the itinerary for the 2-hour tour, I realized that I was right and we got the shortened version of the tour which wasn't what we booked. Specifically, we only took Grace Street to the Capitol, and we didn't even cross Broad Street, so we didn't get to the Court End and the John Marshall House, the Egyptian Building & Monumental Church, and the Museum of the Confederacy. I have the pictures and Google Timeline for our GPS on our phone to prove it.
We enjoyed the tour very much, and also the segway at which we quickly became proficient at. However, we also feel that we were shortchanged by the shortened tour. The guide was nice and quite friendly enough, but we were rushing almost the whole time, and we didn't get much time to take enough pictures (just 5 in total), so my husband decided to take videos while we were moving on the segway instead. It wasn't like we were slow on the segway, we were actually moving very fast at some points, and it was just the two of us so it was easier to guide us compared to a full group especially if there were too many seniors, but we were still rushed.
I emailed them at their website contact form, as we will be around for two more days and could have toured the parts we missed, but we didn't hear back from them.
