Enjoy a fantastic three-course dining experience aboard our Elegant Dining Car. Don't miss the spectacular views from the open-air car, which you can visit at any time during your journey.

Your dining experience begins with a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a salad, warm french rolls with butter, your choice of entree. We'll complete your experience with our chef's choice dessert.

Entree Choices: Chicken Marsala, Buffalo Short Rib, Vegetarian Chef's Choice, or Atlantic Salmon.

We seat guests at tables of four. If your party is smaller or larger, you may be sat with other guests, a wonderful railcar dining tradition we carry forward aboard our train.

Royal Gorge Bridge and Park

Guests aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railroad will get a fantastic view of the Royal Gorge Bridge from deep within the Royal Gorge. Just step outside to the open-air car during your journey for spectacular views of the canon, and be sure to look 1,000+ feet above for a view of the Royal Gorge Bridge.

I perceived the actions of the individuals involved as both racist and misogynistic. I experienced a sense of humiliation in front of others at the train station. I was asked to open my bag in a very discourteous manner. Initially, I thought this might be a positive measure; however, I soon realized that the train employee was singling me out. While I stood there, I observed other passengers with larger backpacks, clearly filled with items, who were not subjected to any searches. It felt as though I was being targeted. Even those behind me recognized the inappropriate behavior of the employee. I believe that I was being singled out based on my race and gender. This situation is unacceptable, and we must strive for improvement. I have tried to get a hold of management and no one has bothered to return my call. They keep deleting my comment.

The views were amazing!! Staff were all wonderful, but Hubie was by far the best. Will definitely try to go again when back in Colorado!

I had such an amazing time! I booked a mini solo trip to Colorado for my birthday and immediately bought myself a ticket for The Royal Gorge train. I had seen beautiful videos on social media and knew I had to add this adventure to my trip. The hospitality was top tier! I felt so welcome and comfortable the whole time. The views were incredible! The staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable of the rich history of the railroad. Aside from the wonderful ambiance and incredible views, the staff made my birthday trip even more memorable. Hubie and Broc went above and beyond to make my day feel even more special. They were such gems! I had the best time! Such a wonderful experience! I have been telling everyone about it.
