I did the funyak on the Rio Grande Racecourse. Funyak meaning, while others were grouped on a raft with a guide, I was pretty much on my own in the kayak. It was my first time kayaking. So I did not know what to expect. I had always been interested in the activity/sport, but wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. I'm glad I did it! If you are the adventurous type and love a good workout, you need to try this!

I took my wife for her first time to rafting for her birthday. She and I had so much fun. The water wasn't to high since it was in July ,but it was perfect for her since she'e she never been rafting before. The river still did have enough rafts so she could still sense what rafting was all about. We wanted to give a BIG SHOUT TO OUR GUIDE ROB for been so patient with us also. We had a blast. He was very knowledgeable about the whole river and very professional. He even helped me with my bad hip situation so I could enjoy the adventure. Thanks ROB!!!

We did the Rio Grande Racecourse half day trip with John as our guide. He was awesome (and really, all the guides in our group were very friendly). He went way above and beyond and made sure we all had a great time. The water level was very low which meant more exposed rocks. John guided us expertly through some tight spots with ease. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. The company was easy to deal with and the gear was all in good shape. We would (will) definitely go again with Far Flung, especilly if we could get John as our guide.
