Our guides (Phil, Addie, and TJ) were exceptional. They were all very knowledgable about the river and I felt we were in safe, more-than-capable hands. They were also great at making connections with a group of very different people. We (myself and 2 nephews in their 20s) were on a trip with a family (grandparents, parents, and kids ranging in age from 9 to 15). I was impressed with how the guides were able to connect with all of us. It was incredibly hot the first couple days on the water (100-105) and Phil and Addie knew where all the sweet waterfalls and watering holes were. They did a great job of keeping us safe while keeping the trip interesting. The rafting itself was easier than I thought it was going to be. There are long stretches of easy water, which made for a pleasant trip. If you are seeking wild thrills, this might not be the trip for you (although the Class IV sections were a blast!). If you want a multi-day camping experience in which all the cooking is done for you (and very tasty) and all you have to do is relax and enjoy time on a beautiful river with extremely competent and knowledgable guides, this is a fantastic trip for you.

Just got off the river with Indigo Creek who outfitted a five day trip for us down the Rouge River. We had a unique mix of experienced kayakers, never ever rafters, and two little kids. Phil and his team of guides couldn’t have been more amazing! They went out of their way to look out for my kids and make everything fun for them. The food was excellent. My husband is vegetarian and they had delicious meals for him as well. They are highly skilled and incredibly friendly. Everything was great! Highly recommend this crew!!

We kayaked an absolutely beautiful section of the Rogue river. The guides were incredibly experienced with smooth transitions in and out of camp and delicious and healthy foods each meal. They made us feel pampered. The river instruction each day was amazingly helpful and made for fun and challenging days paddling. It’s also the little things that are so important. Will ( owner of Indigo Creek) facilitated picking up our kayaks , taking us to the meetup and getting us back to our hotels. That took all the stress out of the trip and was so very appreciated. I would strongly recommend this outfit, you won’t find any better.
