We lived on Oahu in the past and we know what to expect from these dinner cruises. This cruise ship was terrible! Overpriced and the food was not edible to even a mediocre palate. They boarded us to the top of the ship, in the direct sun, when they clearly had round tables and nicer chairs underneath. The salads were bagged salad , beating in the sun, and already wilted. My daughter’s food allergies were made clearly, as they are severe , and although noted, they took zero consideration. The cost for two people was $276.00. When entering the ship and being escorted upstairs, we noticed we were being seated with another couple. We had to walk by each table and bend over to read the card and find our name. The seats were very worn out, rickety, old benches that were uneven and extremely uncomfortable. The dessert was a ,” sliver,” of frozen cheese cake. The prime rib was over cooked and a very thin sliver. The mahi mahi was dried out to a leather consistency. The bartender was rude and the singer was pathetic. So painful to listen too and suddenly, the lights went off and people were suppose to stand up and slow dance in place. No dancing per say. This cruise ship was terrible. Spend the money at a nice restaurant instead. At the end, the workers bring a bifold bill like folder to your table. It actually tells you how much you should tip ( ours said, $40!) They tell you there is a post card inside. None of us left a tip. We know how it goes , where the workers get a minute amount and the owners take it all. Then they come by and ask ,” May we take this?” It is really a rip off with false advertisement. Never again! Princess Dinner Cruises- Close shop and sink your ship!
