Sacramento Ghosts: Gunslingers and Ghouls Tour

One of the earliest towns to be founded in California was Sacramento during the Gold Rush. Old Sac is committed to restoring historical structures so that we can think back on the past. People from all over the world relocated to Sacramento with the hope of getting wealthy. But a number of tragedies, including floods, fires, and a troubled history, cast a shadow on those dreams.

We will visit haunted trains, boats, and tunnels throughout our tour. Discover what lurks below the city's streets. Learn about the disasters that took place in the region during the early days of rail travel. Meet two businessmen that created this city during the Gold Rush and learn about a young child whose heart-warming story has touched people's hearts all around Sacramento. Ethan was a great story teller! I spent the early part of the day visiting museums and exploring Old Sacramento. His ghost stories expanded on many of the history tales I had already been exposed to. I discovered the ghost tour from an Internet search and wasn’t sure how reputable the company actually is. I want to share that it’s a great experience and that you will enjoy the hour around Old Sacramento. I visited the haunted saloon after the tour ended and the bartender confirmed ghostly phenomena. Ethan has flare, passion, and style. Highly recommend!

The host, Rusty, was a great storyteller! Definitely made me afraid of my hotel choice (The Delta King), and got the chance to see all kinds of creepy buildings, roads, and underground tunnel exteriors afterwards. Definitely a must-do and must-repeat. Thanks for making my first trip to California awesome! :) P.S. It's worth it to pay extra for the little ghost plushie and paranormal activity reader. Just be sure to ask for a new rental if your battery dies or you accidentally break it. :D

Rusty Sterling was an amazing tour guide! He called us and gave us detailed instructions to the meet up location and even when we were late because of parking he still made the time to check up on us. I appreciated it a lot! It was so cool learning about the history of Sac and ghost stories!
