On our Secret Food Tour: San Francisco - North Beach and Chinatown, you’ll experience the most iconic parts of “The City by the Bay.” Our experienced guides will take you on a delicious journey through the Gold Rush days of the Barbary Coast. While most tour companies only focus on one neighborhood over the other, we dive deep into both to offer you a taste of the best of both worlds. On your journey, you’ll bite into pizza with a surprise topping straight from the Pacific bay! You will explore West Coast coffee culture, savor dim sum like you’ve never tasted, and find yourself wanting more of our secret bite! You’ll also discover the inner workings of our world famous cable cars, investigate the naughty red light district, uncover where the “The Godfather” was written and conceived, and wander through the alleys where the original miner 49’ers cashed in their sacks of new found gold. My husband and I had a really wonderful time on the food tour. Cory was a fantastic guide. We enjoyed the food choices, but also really enjoyed the history he shared with us and his passion and knowledge for the city. Cory was fun and personable. The coffee, dim sum, fortune cookies, pizza and gelato were all delicious. The tour was done at a nice pace and we all had time to ask questions when we wanted to. One of my "must dos" when we were in San Francisco was to have dim sum. Originally I had planned to go to a sit down restaurant with carts. However, after visiting the House of Dim Sum on this tour, that is where my husband and I went back to get a huge meal of dim sum...SO good!! We enjoyed the tour so much that we have decided that whenever we travel and the opportunity is available, we will do a food tour in every city we visit. Thanks for a great few hours!

We had a great time on our food tour with Jamie. He is very knowledgeable having grown up in the area but also had experience from living in Asia that made our Chinatown experience unique as well. We happened to be there during the lunar new year parade and Chinatown was especially busy —but he still managed to give us VIP treatment, hitting all of the main attractions as well as behind the scenes spots and unique finds. We also had great pizza in north end and learned a lot about the history of that area, as well as cable cars, jazz, the Godfather… all in all a really good tour.
