This Sea Dragon Airboat Safari is among the most exciting fresh water tours that Florida has to offer. Experience the freshwater tributaries along the beautiful and historic St Johns River. Observe various freshwater wildlife and vegetation that include American Alligators, Turtles, Reptiles, West Indian Manatees, Bald Eagles, Blue/Gray Herons, Egrets, Wild Boar, Deer, Cypress Trees, Lily Pads, and other wildlife and vegetation that inhabit the banks of our freshwater rivers and creeks. This tour is approximately 1.5 hour(s) in duration, and include a thrilling ride through parts of Trout Creek, Six Mile Creek, and the Bayard Conservation Area which are all located in the western most side of St. Augustine/St. Johns County.

This past weekend my family and I joined some friends on Capt Mike's Sea Serpent airboat for a tour along the St Johns River and some of the adjoining creeks. During the 90 minute tour, we saw an assortment of birds, a few baby alligators and some turtles. This was a great family outing. Captain Mike was extremely friendly, informative and patient - particularly with our uncooperative 4 year old who initially resisted wearing the earmuffs. On a related topic, the Sea Serpent is a very comfortable vessel. It is likely to change your perception of how an airboat sounds (much quieter than I expected) and rides (very smooth). All in all, a great trip that I highly recommend. I'm looking forward to touring with Capt Mike again, soon.

It was a great experience and highly recommended. Book online and you'll get a discount. Our captain was super friendly and funny. We would do it again and again. It has ample parking on site and easy to find.

It was super fun to do. Captain Justin raced over the water a few times which was really cool. We saw crocodiles, he took all the time, and an eagle's nest, turtles, woodpecker and other birds. By the way, you don't need mosquito spray because there are virtually no mosquitoes living there because of the mud. Tip: take off your earrings because you can lose them by putting the headphones on and taking them off.
