Navajo Nation

On our tours, we take you on a private off-road 4x4 drive for 6 miles (approximately 30 minutes) meandering through the desert, rolling hills and wash-beds. During the drive, we may see coyotes, foxes, bobcats, owls, hawks and other desert wildlife!

Horseshoe Bend

At Horseshoe Bend Overlook, we'll avoid the congested public parking lot and take a private dirt road that leads to within 100 meters of the edge of the canyon. This exclusive access allows you to have a much shorter walk to the rim and enjoy breathtaking views of the Colorado River winding around the Horseshoe Bend loop.

We were treated to a small group tour of one of the Antelope Slot Canyons. If you are looking for a tour where you are not rushed through, this is the tour. There were 13 of us and a guide. The land we were one belongs to our guides family so we did not have any other tour groups to contend with. We had a leisurely hour to walk through the canyon twice. Many other groups move you through and then you hike back out. We were able to walk through the canyon, wait for our group of 13 to finish and then go back through the canyon again. We also got to experience Horseshoe Bend. The public side of Horseshoe Bend is right next to the land that belongs to our guide's sister. This allowed us to drive right up to the bend without having to hike 1.5 miles. The views were stunning at both locations. Yes, this tour is more expensive but you will be happy you spent it when it's all over. (PS If you are a photographer, this is the tour for you. You can take your backpack of equipment and tripod.)

Our guide was very helpful and accommodating. We learned from her so much about the slot canyons, the history, and how to take the best photos with our iPhone (using iPhone features I didn’t know I even had) while in the slot canyon.

This tour was amazing! It is so nice to be away from the big crowds of tours. This one has private canyon access and private viewing area of Horseshoe Bend. We loved it.
