Once docked at the Sitka port, you won't have to go far to see this area's abundant natural beauty and wildlife! This 3-hour shore excursion starts right at the cruise port dock and includes a sightseeing cruise and then a 1.5-hour kayak tour through the magnificent waters of the Sitka Sound, part of the Gulf of Alaska. Stood in a long hour long line in the rain to get on the bus to travel to the pick up spot then waited around for the tour to finally get a phone call saying that they canceled the tour. They could have called us before we spent all that time waiting in the rain

We had an awesome experience…..the guides were knowledgeable and experienced. The actual kayaking was a breeze and not overly difficult. Even though it was raining it was still a ton of fun
