Chris Lee is an incredibly knowledgeable guide, highly educated in fine arts and a local who knows the museum inside and out. At a brisk pace, he guided us through the history of Western art from BC through modern day, while guiding us through all the major sections of the museum. Along the way, he was intentional to allow us opportunities to take pictures. To see everything in this museum, you'd have to sleep there overnight and stay for at least a week, but this tour was very valuable in giving you a highlight. I recommend you do the early tour, break for lunch, and then go back into the museum to spend time taking it all in at your own pace.

Chris did an amazing job explaining the different eras of art and how they are interconnected. It was the fastest 2 hours I’ve ever spent on a museum.

The Met is a must for anyone visiting New York City. This 2 hour tour offers a general overview of the building and the collections and give visitors a good perspective in case their time is limited.
