Skunk Train: Pudding Creek Express із Форт-Брегга

Огляд
This relaxed and scenic 7-mile roundtrip journey departs the Depot in downtown Fort Bragg year-round, traveling along the beautiful Pudding Creek Estuary and passing into primeval ancient redwoods to the tranquil setting of Glen Blair Junction.

Trains will stop at Glen Blair Junction for 15 minutes, allowing you to get off and stretch your legs and explore. Or, if you’d like to spend more time walking our trails amongst the redwoods, you can remain and catch the next train (roughly two hours later). Plenty of time to explore. Feel free to bring a packed lunch (no alcohol, please) to enjoy at one of our picnic tables.

These were some of the first tracks ever laid down by the California Western Railroad in 1885, and we've been carrying passengers on them ever since.

The Skunk Train is something that I have always wanted to experience. I’ve been to Brad many times and each time I’ve gone the train has been sold out. I think I was expecting a little more for the price. The bathrooms didn’t have any toilet paper or running water. Also, it was kind of strange that the attendance on the train or little kids. The food and beverage workers were not very pleasant. I did enjoy the brisk cool air of the open car and I really enjoyed the views. I think this is a good experience for people visiting the area and I would highly recommend this train ride. When we stopped for our 45 minute break, there isn’t much to do except for a walk around the wooded area. They had games and heaters, but there isn’t a lot to do. I would suggest that you bring a lunch and drinks so that your family can enjoy this outdoor seating area. The right back was quick and the dispersement was fairly quick. After our train ride, we purchased a few souvenirs and walked around the area. Overall, it was a great day.

The train ride was very short, but enjoyable. I had hoped for more redwoods, but at our stop we were able to get off the train and walk around a few small groves of trees. All in all, it was a nice trip

This trip is always wonderful, but this time was even better with the Christmas lights on the train and at the stop. Always a perfect experience!!! Scenery is amazing!
