The 5-star rated small-group Colorado River kayak & Emerald tour is operated less than 1-hour self-drive from the Las Vegas Strip. Departing at 7, 9 & 10 am & 12.30 pm. This 4-mile tour along Black Canyon is suitable for all skill levels/ages and will be at a relaxed pace with no more than 12 people in your group. On your trip, you’ll see caves, stunning scenery and you may even spot big horn sheep or an eagle. We have the most experienced guides on the river that will keep you safe and entertained throughout the trip with historic facts. With stops to rest/swim and we provide snacks. Be sure to bring your camera for memories that will last a lifetime! This company is Veteran owned & operated and only use USA-made Kayaks. We guarantee it will be the best thing that you do whilst in Las Vegas! Note: Tandem kayaks available for small children & disabled Veterans. Please note - the 7am departure requires a minimum of 4 passengers to book **

Absolutely beautiful trip on the Colorado River and Griffin was a fantastic guide. He was clearly experienced in both kayaking and guiding groups down the river. He patient with us older folks, very knowledgeable about the tour and the surrounding area. He was fun and made the tour very enjoyable. Enjoyed the fact that it was a small group tour. I would recommend this tour without hesitation. Thanks again Griffin, the trip was one of the highlights of our vacation!

We booked Veterans Kayak through Viator and it was very smooth experience from booking and throughout the tour. They responded to questions timely and texted instructions the day before. We had a 7am tour in February and literally had the entire Colorado river to ourselves. Griffin was our tour guide and he was so attentive, personable and great with his knowledge. He helped us spot wildlife and we saw bald eagles and others! As a first time kayaker, Griffin gave perfect instructions and helped correct techniques along the way. All in all such an amazing must do activity.

Fantastic experience! We had Griffin as our tour guide and he was so attentive. We really got lucky with a 7am tour, we had the entire Colorado river to ourselves. Also managed to spot wildlife along the way (sheep, bald eagle, etc.). Plenty of stops to rest arms and legs. Highly recommend to escape the hustle and bustle of Vegas and enjoy nature.

The early you go the more chance you have of having the river to yourself for sure and in the summer it’s going to be a lot cooler than the afternoon tour.
