The 5-star rated small-group Colorado River kayak & Emerald tour is operated less than 1-hour self-drive from the Las Vegas Strip. Departing at 7, 9 & 10 am & 12.30 pm. This 4-mile tour along Black Canyon is suitable for all skill levels/ages and will be at a relaxed pace with no more than 12 people in your group. On your trip, you’ll see caves, stunning scenery and you may even spot big horn sheep or an eagle. We have the most experienced guides on the river that will keep you safe and entertained throughout the trip with historic facts. With stops to rest/swim and we provide snacks. Be sure to bring your camera for memories that will last a lifetime! This company is Veteran owned & operated and only use USA-made Kayaks. We guarantee it will be the best thing that you do whilst in Las Vegas! Note: Tandem kayaks available for small children & disabled Veterans. Please note - the 7am departure requires a minimum of 4 passengers to book **

Seriously. Do it. If I could give this tour more than 5 stars I would!!!!! Griffin was the most excellent tour guide and I can’t say enough good things about him. My daughter and I arrived, sat at nearby picnic tables and watched a few companies setting up kayaks for the morning tour. We were pleasantly surprised when we approached and found that Griffin had brought two kayaks just for us (yay! Our own private tour)!! Most companies want large groups but These guys WANT smaller more personal tours so they can give everyone their attention and make sure everyone has the best experience. We were the first ones out on the water for the day and had the river to ourselves. Griffin gave us lots of information on the wildlife and the history of the river and the dam. We were the first to the Emerald Cave and got to spend as much time in it as we wanted to since no one was waiting to go in after us. Going out early also meant that we had less paddling against the wind than waiting for a later time. On the way back we stopped to get out at a scenic overlook and had snacks and water. While we were there we saw the next 3 tour groups going out. So many people in each group! We were so thankful that we had our little personal tour. These guys are the absolute best. I promise you won’t regret it. Keep in mind that if you go in the summer months it WILL be HOT and you WILL have to wait in a line of kayaks to get into the cave (unless you’re first like we were). We had the most perfect weather. 65° and sunny on Dec 31st. Also…. Just FYI…They operate on Nevada/pacific time zone so if you’re coming from Vegas their time is the same.
