Suitable for all physical fitness levels
MUST BE COMFORTABLE RIDING A BIKE
PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE TOUR TIME at 9:45am or 1:45pm for check-in and warm-up.
Minimum age is 13 years and must be 5 foot tall and minimum 100 lbs
Guideline for maximum age is 70 if you are a comfortable bike rider.
Children aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult
We recommend you wear closed toed shoes, sunscreen and sunglasses and bring a jacket (all bikes have double saddlebags for small items).
Tours do not operate in rain
Important: The tour requires a minimum number of passengers to operate. There is a possibility that the tour may be cancelled after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring you will be provided with an alternate option or full refund.

Los Angeles/Santa Monica are famous for traffic. Plan for TRAFFIC especially on Freeways.

We are a family of 5. We chose this particular tour due to the use of electric bikes as I was unsure my daughters would cope with peddling so much on their own. And we also wanted to see what it was like to ride electric bikes. We had a fantastic tour with our guide. I cannot remember her name but she was so cool. Very safety conscious, very informative, an excellent photographer and overall lovely person. Everywhere we stopped she had interesting stories about landmarks, buildings or about the beach itself. We went along the front of Santa Monica all the way down to Venice Beach which was an eye opener. The Venice canals were cool and we learnt a lot about those too. We really enjoyed our tour and the bikes were very comfortable. The lady who does the bookings was so lovely and they really do run a professional operation. We would do it again and we highly recommend this tour company.

I booked the Semi-Private Bike tour and it was a very new and funny experience for me to drive an electric bike. Barb took sufficient time to explain me everything beforehand and I could do some rounds with the e-bike to get familiar with it. Then already it started and it was for nearly 3 hours a Californication for me. We drove along the beach, visiting Santa Monica, Venice Beach and the Venice Canals. Barb made with me some stops for taking pictures and explained about the curiousities of these spots. It was very interesting to hear the facts and learn something about the mentality an culture in California. Driving along the beach was fun and the time passed by in a flesh. To sum up, I can really recommend the pedal or not biking tour. You have good weather, a nice company and can pedal or not.

Outstanding tour. Our guide was super knowledgeable, professional and warm. Totally worth the cost. The e-bikes were super easy to use for a first-time user like me. Definitely recommend.
