We were fortunate that we were able to book this trip through NCL's Pride of America excursions. We were blessed to get Tony Perry as our driver/guide. The trip was terrific from start to finish. Tony was concerned for our welfare and helping see/experience all we could. Each stop was worth the time, lunch was quite good, Tony's narrative insightful, and the van more comfortable than a normal tour bus. This is a trip we will long remember.

I was pleased I could see nice and "remote" parts of Maui Island. Without a tour I could not go via the whole coastal road which is forbidden to rental cars. It was a really long day and it would be nice to spend more time enjoying what the road and the surrounding scenery has to offer. However we spent at least one hour having a breakfast, and other stops were by local shops, which most likely collect commission from what we bought... The main stop just before Hana was interesting although it was surrounded by at least another 500 tourists. I was pleased I could experience this drive, just I would suggest to offer more real scenic stops and perhaps get on the road earlier to avoid lunchtime congestion of many private cars and tour buses. The highlight of our tour was our driver-guide Nani, she is really great asset of the company. Obviously we can't complain about the amount of tourists out there, as we were also part of the problem, however I think that with a few minor tweaks, this tour could differentiate itself from the congested treadmill which is by and large the road around the island. Nani was clearly a local favourite on the island and we loved her humour in what is surely quite a challenging job - remaining cheerful in this crowded maelstrom. Maui clearly has significant tourism pressures and this can't be an easy environment to remain positive in. Overall this is a 'good' general tour, made better by Nani. Thanks.

Gail our guide was very informotive, very knowledgable and funny!! She kept us informed about all the sights and knows her stuff like the back of her hand!! When you go on this tour ask for Gail!!
