This is billed as a "Sailing" adventure, when, in fact, it is a boat ride, albeit a pleasant one. The jib was raised but the whole ride was under motor power. The direction was north when the more interesting part of the river is south. We had to ask for the overly loud country music blaring from the radio to be changed and volume lowered so conversation could be heard. We were varied family members, varied ages. For a similar price, I would recommend doing the Fun Cat Sailing in Ponce Inlet, where you get 3 hours and see the best of the Halifax river as well as actually sail in the open ocean.
