As a seasoned world-traveler who has visited over 100 countries, I've taken many of these kind of day tours. I live in San Francisco and have always wanted to take a tour like this in my hometown. A friend who also lives here had a friend visiting from another state so we decided to treat her to this tour. And what a treat it was! Out of all of the tours that I've taken all over the world, Buddy was the best tour guide I've ever had! He cared a lot about everyone on the tour having a good experience. Once he collected all of us, he pulled over to find out if anyone had a special request about something to see. He remembered everyone's name and got us all involved in enjoying the experience. As a native San Franciscan who loves history and culture, I thought that I already knew a lot about SF. But I learned so much from Buddy and he cleared up some mysteries that I had always wondered about. My friend who also lives here was blown away by how much she learned as well. And her friend from out of town felt that she got a great overview and introduction to what makes San Francisco so special. Buddy was so generous with his time and passionate about sharing his extensive knowledge about both the classic tourist attractions as well as special secret spots that only locals know. He told entertaining personal stories as well as interesting anecdotes about famous San Franciscans. Now after having Buddy as a tour guide, I want to take all the other tours that he leads in the Bay Area. In fact, I had such a good time and got so much out of it, I would enjoy taking this same City Tour with Buddy again!
