Our DeTour van of 12 was met by Joe who greeted each person and introduced all to our group. Joe provided great detail, of history, events, the geological path that the van would follow, informing us about the various cactus and wildlife that we passed by on our tour. Joe was well informed and shared easily with us all. A worthwhile rest stop at a gas station near the Apache Casino was much appreciated, then off to Montezuma's Castle to view the cliff dwellings of a indigenous Indians. We then made three stops, including the Chapel and Airport Mesa, around Sedona from which to capture spectacular photos, plus listen to Joe's detailed account of the creation of the shifting tectonic plates role in creating this amazing landscape in the Sedona area. Joe was extremely knowledgeable about the geological history and formations, which was most appreciated by our group, who asked good questions of Joe. Lastly, we did a loop of Sedona with Joe providing very helpful guidance before he dropped us off for our town exploration and lunch. For me, the Cowboy Club was awesome providing the chance to try a Prickly Pear Margarita, Prickly Pear Mojito, then a sample plate with Prickly Pear Fries, Rattlesnake Sausage and skewers of Bison. What a great unusual sampling! We finished with a walkabout of Sedona, searching for those special things to provide a great memory. Joe picked us up at 2:30 after a 2 1/2 stop in Sedona, just enough time to explore, eat ...and dream about coming back to Sedona for a future vacation.

Hi Mitchell… Thank you for coming out on a tour with us to the amazing Sedona and for taking a moment to share your experience. We appreciate the opportunity to show you this amazing place, in our special way. We’re thrilled to hear that you both enjoyed the service that Joel provided, and that he could make your day extra special by sharing his knowledge of Arizona and Sedona, along the way. We hope to see you again on another one of our tours departing from Phoenix or Las Vegas, in the not too distant future.
