After that, we will climb 14115 feet to Pikes Peak Summit. Then you will take a scenic drive back into Denver.

  • Minimum number of 4 passengers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
  • Bring a warm jacket and wear comfortable shoes.
  • Return time is between 5:45 and 6:45PM (pending traffic).
  • Pikes Peak Highway is open year round. However, weather conditions are always a factor. if the summit is not accessible, we will drive to the highest point possible.
  • No children under the age of 7. Private tours are recommended for families with children.
  • You may experience altitude sickness. Avoid alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to departure time.
  • No refunds will be issued due to weather or road closures.

My fiance had arranged the tour without asking me. GREAT CALL! Best tour EVER! Our guide was Jason, and he was beyond knowledgeable, was super friendly but chill, so was a perfect balance of fun tour guide and laid back driver who gave us space to do our own thing. It was SUCH a BONUS to be shown around by someone who actually grew up in Denver, and to leave the driving to him so we could just relax and focus on the incredible views on this journey. (We even waved to his childhood home along the way. LOL.) I'll be honest - I was apprehensive having someone I don't even know to drive me up a set of crazy huge mountains. But Jason arrived in a nice-sized, comfy & clean tour van. He began our tour by briefly telling us his driving credentials. Without bragging, he put us at ease that he's driven in LOTS of different terrains in ALL SORTS of vehicles, also giving lots of interesting details about other parts of the country and other tours he's guided. VERY interesting fellow, this Jason. Anyway, from then on I felt I was in good hands. I just relaxed and just had a GREAT time! I'm from Virginia and spent all my life travelling the hairpin turns of West Virginia. But WOW - the Denver mountains are something different. We first hit GoG and had individual time to check it out on our own. Then traveled up to the small mountain village of Manitou Springs for lunch on our own, then back to the vehicle for the trek up the to the Peak. There was a good amount of interaction between strangers in our group, because Jason has that rare knack to make EVERYONE feel included part of things. There was a perfect amount of alone time and together time. Of course the destination is incredible - but since this review is of the tour service itself - my opinion is that this tour was 100% a GREAT experience. And Jason - you're a treasure. Our tour was the best. Jason arrived on time and introduced himself. His personal stories were the best. His conversations throughout the tour were superb. The Garden of the Gods was awesome. We walk a different path than most people. Though we couldn’t go to the top of Pikes Peak due to weather. We did get above the tree line. Everyone could see why we couldn’t go farther as the snow was treacherous. I took awesome pictures. I would highly recommend this tour if you ever visit Denver.
