This Segway tour was the highlight of out trip. Riding a Segway is always fun, but doing it through the wine country was awesome ! My husband and I have been on segways before, but even the first timers can do this. Hunt, our tour guide, was fun and interesting and very knowledgeable about local history. We rode around town, on country roads and to 2 beautiful wineries. Lunch was wonderful and then off to a cheese factory. The entire experience was top notch. A+

The Sonoma Segway tour was the highlight of our trip to the wine country. The tour started with our guide, Hunt, teaching us how to ride a segway in a parking lot in Sonoma Plaza. He was very patient and kind and was careful to highlight safety on the segway. The tour was about 10 miles through areas of Sonoma we would have never seen on our own. Having grown up in Sonoma, Hunt seemed to know everything there is to know about the area and history. He took us to two wineries and a quaint cheese factory (which was the highlight for me). Hunt stopped along the way to give history of the wineries and help us take photos of the group. There was no obligation to buy at the wineries or cheese factory, but I will say that we left there having a case of wine from Buena Vista shipped to us and a bag full of fabulous cheese from the cheese factory. Thank you to Hunt for making our trip to Sonoma fun and memorable. We had such a good time that we are already making plans to go back in the fall. And I can promise you we will be calling Hunt at Sonoma Segway!!!

Having read the earlier reviews, i could not agree more. Although we had never been on a Segway, the owner and tour guide, Hunt, (yes, that is his name), was terrific. Initially, he spent time teaching us how to ride the Segway which was really very simple. The tour went to two wineries and a small (but, wonderful) cheese factory -- which we would never have discovered without Hunt and who personally served us with any samples we wanted, without any obligation to buy. On the way to the wineries, Hunt would stop occasionally to take photos and give us some history of the area and the wines of Sonoma. At the second winery (Buena Vista which was recently renovated), Hunt gave a tour of unique wine tasting rooms in the cave and arranged for a fantastic picnic lunch. Although the tour lasted over six hours and we traveled about ten miles, the day went quickly and was thoroughly enjoyable. While you have numerous choices in Sonoma, I would not want you to miss this unique and fun tour.
