Galveston has seen a horrifying number of sudden deaths. An ungodly number of the islands dearly departed, well never departed. Their spirits are lurking in the shadows, alleys, staircases and stalk THE STRAND every day! The historic 19th century buildings on THE STRAND have become ghost sanctuaries. And the ghosts inside are just dying to meet you.

Join us on our 90 minute walking tour as we explore the fascinating paranormal happenings on the strand, the original street of horror. Hurricanes, war, fire, and epidemics! The pirate Jean Lafitte even turned the island into a den of thieves. Galveston has more ghosts than any other city in U.S.

Walking in the night, translucent figures will float by the windows. Shadows will suddenly appear and objects move of their own accord as we huddle closer to one another for are mutual protection. We never know what’s waiting for us around the corners. Beware and be scared! After all Galveston is nothing but “a cemetery with a beach attached.”

Pirate John was fantastic! Our family was completely entertained by John the Pirate. He was incredibly knowledgeable, knew all the history of Galveston Island and had great family jokes!! Our boys are ready to go visit some key haunted spots he shared!

Super stories. Very nice tour guide. Had cute jokes in between walking spots. I would suggest he start the tour in a quieter place though. ;)

The story about the 6th floor! Also, all the history regarding the mass body disposal efforts! Our tour guide was named John and was very personable and knowledgeable about the Allen’s history. Had a wonderful time and plan to experience that you are again one day
