Here are my thoughts: -- I booked this cruise for family coming in from out of town, including a senior and three teens. They all loved it. It was a great way to show my family the New York skyline and the Statue of Liberty. The boat itself is beautiful, filled with beautiful natural woods. This is primarily why I am recommending this company. I noticed as we sailed around the harbor boats from competing companies that didn't look nearly as nice -- in fact a lot of them looked very ugly. I felt light we were on a beautiful luxury boat. -- The staff was so friendly.The captain let my father sit with him and explained to him a lot about the boat. -- We mostly sat inside (we took the cruise in December) and enjoyed free drinks, but then went outside on the deck briefly to take photos of the Statue of Liberty.

The host David was fun and got us all singing. The jazz style band was a great way to start our evening. The drinks were great and the staff was impeccable.

After reading all the wonderful reviews on TripAdvisor, our group had high expectations for this cruise and let me tell you: all of our expecations were not only met, but they were exceeded. The cruise was the highlight of our trip and we are so glad we booked it. We did the "Holiday Statue and Skyline Sightseeing Cruise" and loved every second of it. The trip started at Pier 62 and check-in was a breeze. We began boarding ten minutes before departure and I was pleased to see that our entire sail was only 20 people! We had so much room to move about and explore. With it being December, it was very cold (low 30s) but inside the cabin was toasty and warm. After a welcome message and some safety guidelines from our Captain, Andrew, we set sail. Shortly after, the other crew members (Andrew and Rebecca "Becks") came around and took our drink order. After a few minutes, we had our drinks in hand and were toasting to our time on the Hudson. When safe to get up, we ventured to the bow of the boat for a better view. Again, it was December so it was FREEZING, but well-worth it. We dressed warm in coats, hats, scarves and gloves so we were ok, but you must be prepared if you want to leave the warm confines of the cabin. This isn't an architecture tour per se, but Captain Andrew pointed out landmarks along the way and we learned some fun facts about the area. The entire trip is ripe for photo-taking, as there are wonderful views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Brooklyn Bridge, everything! Everyone on our sail was very nice and helped each other out with taking photos. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone wanting a different perspective of the city. It was a totally memorable trip and we are grateful to Andrew, Becks and John for a wonderful time.
