Our most popular tour! Watch a legendary Kona sunset from our spacious 50’ catamaran as you sail the Kona coast, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa included.

Travelers should have a high level of physical fitness

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times
Guests are asked to check-in at our KONASTYLE retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75 5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.
PLEASE NOTE that trip start times VARY throughout the year to accommodate for the time changes of the setting sun.
PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers. If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

Kona Style….Fantastic, must do. Boat was spacious, Crew was Helpful, courteous, and accommodating. Safety first. Other boats there looked cramped and crowded. My pictures will tell the story better. Did the Kalakakua snorkel trip too with “Kona Style”….5 stars from us too!

We not only saw one whale but we saw two on the cruise to the manta ray site. The manta ray excursion was everything they said it was and even went over the top! WOW, coolest experience ever 🤛👊🫶 we had multiple manta rays immediately under us doing somersaults and even were within inches of our bodies. NO TOUCH, but they entertained us for an hour watching manta rays at their best, what a show that Kona Style produced just like they wanted!! A big thank you to the great very helpful kind crew members!! Aloha🐋🥽💫

Went snorkeling on the sunset tour, loved it, we have gone twice with family visiting and never disappoints. Loved the boat tour going to area and we saw many Mantas swimming so close to us!
