Our most popular tour! Watch a legendary Kona sunset from our spacious 50’ catamaran as you sail the Kona coast, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa included.

Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times
Guests are asked to check-in at our KONASTYLE retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75 5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.
PLEASE NOTE that trip start times VARY throughout the year to accommodate for the time changes of the setting sun.
PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers. If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

This tour was absolutely amazing! Seeing the manta rays is astounding... like nothing you'll ever see again in your life! The tour starts with a very nice 30-45 minute sunset cruise to the site with a bar on the boat, the crew provides everyone with a wetsuit shirt and snorkle gear, then everyone hops in the water with a floaty to enjoy the show! You do get in the water at night, but the shore is extremely close and there are lights everywhere in the water plus other manta ray tours nearby so it's not scary at all to get in the water. There are 3-4 crew members in the water to assist anyone who wants to get out early. Additionally, you don't need to be a strong swimmer because you are holding on to a large floating board the entire time! My significant other says manta rays are now his favorite animal! Highly, highly recommended tour!!

Awesome tour! Captain Tanner was great. Provided great guidance on our safety and didn't waste anytime getting us in the water. He really sets a fun tone for the entire night. The crew were so wonderful but a big callout to Hunter on his vast knowledge on Mantas plus he's an absolute machine towing 30odd people hanging onto the light bar! Definitely recommend this trip.

It was an amazing experience with great educated staff from Kona Style! We loved being in the water with the Manta Ray! Within 5 minutes of entering the water one was within inches from our faces! This experience was just the right amount of time for our group!
